Willie Oliver Re-Elected RHA National Chairman

County Londonderry haulage boss Willie Oliver has been re-elected as National Chairman of the Road Haulage Association.

Willie, who’s Managing Director of Coleraine based Oliver Transport Services Ltd, says he’s delighted with the re-election.

“I am also delighted to head up such a strong team. The RHA is now firmly established as the leading trade and employers’ association within the UK transport sector.  

“I must also thank, on behalf of not only myself but the membership as a whole, the departing members of the Board. They have guided the Association through some of the most turbulent times in its history and have always been of tremendous support to the National Chairman.”

Willie’s two vice chairmen for the next year are Steve Bowles of Roy Bowles Transport and Theo de Pencier, Managing Director of Bibby Distribution.

Other additions to the Board include Jonathan Bulmer, Bulmer Logistics, Richard Fry, Framptons Transport Services, George Inch, DHL Freight, Tony Jones, Courtenham Warehousing & Distribution and Barry Proctor, Barry Proctor Services Limited.

Those leaving to make way for the newcomers are Bob Russett, Anne Preston, John Marshall and Graham Hodgkins.
