Allen Logistics celebrate 40 years in business

Employees and customers of Moira, County Down based Allen Logistics were recently treated to a great night out to celebrate Director Linden Allen’s 40 years in the transport industry.

Originally founded as Allen Transport by William Allen back in the 1950s, the company has grown and developed and transformed itself into Allen Logistics, now operating from modern depots in the UK, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic, providing customers with a total logistics package.

The celebratory evening was held at The Barn in Moira just before Christmas and included the very best food, drink and entertainment, with superb prizes up for grabs in a series of raffles, ranging from a jacket and bottle of whiskey to a forklift truck and a ferry trip to Liverpool!

As our accompanying photographs show, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening, with the company looking forward now to the next 40 years!
