New Dealer Principal joins Coulter Truck & Van
Renault Trucks Distributor, Coulter Truck and Van, has appointed Ray McSorley as its new Dealer Principal.
A Graduate of the University of Ulster, Ray has worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, and joins Coulte Truck & Van from Alfred McAlpine where he was Fleet Services Director for six years, in charge of a fleet of 4,500 vehicles.
In his new role, Ray will be responsible for all of Coulter Truck & Van’s sites in Newtownabbey, Portadown and the recently opened dealership in Haydock, Lancashire.
“Having spent the best part of my career as an operator within the industry, I was keen to experience life on the dealership side and so seized the opportunity to join Coulter,“ he explains. “I haven’t had much experience with Renault Trucks in the past and am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Renault product. I feel it’s a well kept secret in the market place – an issue I intend to address.”
He adds: “I intend to use my experience, as an operator, to develop customer service at Coulter to ensure it meets the expectations I had when I was a customer. My biggest challenge for 2008, however, is the development of our business on the mainland via our new dealership in Haydock. I am from Northern Ireland originally and so am delighted to be working at Coulter as part of the Renault Trucks dealer network.”
