TomTom Works in Northern Ireland

A leading Northern Ireland telephony company has expanded its services to include provision of an innovative vehicle navigation and tracking system.

stobartBarclay Communications say that the introduction of TomTom WORK is already saving clients hundreds of pounds per vehicle per month helping businesses to better manage fleet costs.

Barclay Communications TomTom WORK Manager Paul Galway says: “Business costs are rising but good communication remains the key to business success and there are opportunities for businesses to save on fleet running costs. Businesses lose a lot of fuel, time and money when trying to find delivery addresses or sales appointment locations. TomTom WORK and other systems enable maximum efficiency. Savings can be as much as £400 per month per vehicle, based on an appropriate mileage of 100 miles per working day.”

TomTom WORK is a flexible vehicle navigation system, which combines reporting for tracking and tracing purposes, planning, reporting and communication functions for businesses. Each TomTom has a built in SIM-card that enables messages to be sent and information to be located via the vehicle and online Webfleet system, through the mobile GPRS system. It’s accessible via any PC with Internet connection.

It also has benefits for vehicle security and stolen vehicle recovery making it easy to track exact vehicle locations at all times.
